I’m an editorial and commercial photographer. I got my start as a photojournalist before traveling the country capturing America for travel, business and community publications. When I’m not shooting on assignment I can usually be found working on personal  projects and leading photo workshops.

I started eating vegetables late in life but will now try anything at least once. I enjoy coffee way too much but drink plenty of water. I collect photography books but not cameras. I walk my son to school every morning but he thinks he’s walking me. Pixar is amazing but HBO original series take up too much of my free time. Traveling with my family is always more fun than traveling alone but I still have to travel alone sometimes. I’d rather listen to music on vinyl but have more mp3’s than records.  I enjoy crafted beer more than wine but I’m learning.  I did a TEDx talk and I liked it. I have a yard but I don’t like doing yard work. I’m always optimistic but never blinded by bliss. I listen to NPR but not Car Talk. I like hanging out with people smarter than me and usually do. I enjoy reading but I do it with my ears now. Snakes make me nervous but I couldn't ask you to wear one if I wouldn't.
